What is the Poseidon shower bench?

Poseidon is Quare’s bespoke shower bench, designed to blend in visually with the rest of the bathroom. It can be combined with Quare shower trays and Wall Panels using the same finish and colour, allowing you to create cohesive designs and maintain a consistent material identity throughout the project.

As well as being used as a seat, its surface can serve as a support within the shower area, providing comfort without compromising on an integrated aesthetic.

What material is Poseidon made from?

Poseidon is made from Quarex, the material developed by Quare from polyester resin and Mineral fillers, with a specific coating for use in the bathroom.

Quare’s technical documentation highlights, amongst other features, the coating’s resistance to hydrolysis and UV rays, as well as its non-slip properties and ease of cleaning and maintenance.

What are the measurements and finishes of the Poseidon shower bench?

Poseidon is manufactured with a height of 350 mm, a depth of 470 mm and a configurable length between 500 and 1300 mm, allowing it to be adapted to different shower sizes and layouts.

It is available in two textures: Poseidon can be configured in 11 standard colours from Quare —Pure White, Crema, Grey, Grege, Silk Grey, Fango, Macchiato, Terra, Grafite, Antracite and Black—, in the special colours Gold, Fossil and Terracotta, and in RAL and NCS colours on request.

• Liso, with a uniform surface and minimalist aesthetic.

This variety allows the bench to be coordinated with the shower tray, Wall Panels and other Quare elements in the project.

How is the Poseidon shower bench installed?

Poseidon is supplied ready-finished from the factory and its installation system is specifically designed to integrate it correctly into the shower space.

The bench is supplied with two support feet, a Silicone cartridge and an extension designed to fill the gap between the bench and the wall or shower screen. The length of the extension is determined by the specific requirements of the project.

Poseidon must not be installed directly on the shower tray or fixed to the shower screen. To ensure correct installation, Quare’s technical and fitting instructions must always be followed.

Unlike a built-in bench that is subsequently tiled, Poseidon allows a factory-finished unit to be incorporated into the project, coordinated with the rest of the bathroom’s elements.
